I am staggered by the service we received here on Saturday, especially after such a positive telephone conversation with Paige who sounded lovely and was really helpful. Upon arrival, we were eventually met by a salesperson named Charlie who was snippy from the outset. We requested to view the car and Charlie was extremely unhelpful, very impatient and complained of feeling cold. Once inside, Charlie’s attitude was appalling. Despite our obvious interest in the car, Charlie was unbelievably dismissive and nonchalant, and expressed that she didn’t need the sale. We felt extremely uneasy and ended up leaving. I am shocked by the level of unprofessionalism and deeply disappointed that we were unable to negotiate a sale. We visited a competitor today and received an exceptionally warm welcome; a stark contrast to Pentagon Vauxhall Mansfield! We are now exploring the possibility of viewing the car elsewhere, and intend to avoid this place at all costs. Thanks to Charlie, we had a very negative experience indeed...

Bought a car last week and it drives well, I have no complaints and a never usually write bad reviews. However I was told the car had 1 owner from new, the sales person went back to check again told me it had 1 owner from new. The other car we went to look at had 1 previous owner we were told as well. (it turns out that has more than 2) We just received the log book and the car has had 3 former owners. To say I am annoyed is an understament. I would definitely not of bought the car and we paid top book price for it. I would suggest anyone buying a used car from this place not to believe the sales people and take their word for it and make sure you check the log book. I thought I was really careful and checked the service history and the rest of the documents but took the word of the sales staff on the log book. What could of been a great buying experience and should of been was let down by their sale tactics. 'we are not a back street garage' we were told. Unfortunately you are, you do not need to to make false claims to sell cars On a positive we had to take the car back in for a couple faults missed on the check and the service staff were excellent Edit.. Answer to the reply. The skoda had two owners from new and the person who has bought the car now is the 3rd owner. As I said in the post the sales person went back to find out about the red insignia and came back and told us both (my wife was there as well) it had 1 previous owner and so did the blue insignia. Unless the sales person has made a mistake the 3 cars we were told all had 1 previous owner. At no time did the person say it had 3 previous. I asked the question a number of times and got the same answer.
